Game told me they are doing the same deal instore (not online though - run by a different company or something apparently), so if Sainsbury's have sold out, you can try there

is this the best deal around at the moment? Argos doing 3 games and 250gb for £284.99

not sure whether to buy or wait for nearer xmas to see if any better offers.

Bought PS3 250gb slim console with Unchartered 2 and Need for Speed last friday eveining from Sainsburys store for £284.99.

Husband had seen offer an on-line forum and when we went to desk with them the assistant said he didn't know about the deal. He rang head office to check it out and the deal was on. :T We got choice of the same 5 games as 'Quiffsmum'. Better to pay the extra £35 I think to get that much more memory and future proof yourself with your equipment.

The 60Gb one is the old style, which is a lot noiser and sucks a lot more electrictity than the new slimline version in either 120Gb or 250Gb. Would be better to spend the bit extra and get the new style PS3 imho, as running costs will be less and far far less annoying noise wise.

For £284. Its worth paying another £40 for double the storage from the 120gb. I don't care about the footie game so will sell that on anyway.
