the last time they had butternut squash as a Super Six they were really small so I'm hoping they are a better size this time.

Unfortunately the asparagus is likely to be from Peru or somewhere and it is so lacking in flavour compared to English asparagus so I'll be giving that a miss.

I will be having 5 of the 6, try the asparagus, not that keen anyway, I always think they are a better size at the beginning of the offer, so as butternut squash keeps for months will stock up today with half a dozen or so.
Do I need it or just want it.

as anticipated the squash are quite small compared to other places you can buy them (although obviously a bit more expensive). Still I bought ½ dozen of them to make some spicy butternut squash soup which I absolutely love :)

The asparagus is indeed from Peru and it looked very pale green in colour, anemic looking, not at all how asparagus should look. There was only about 4 or 5 stalks in the pack too which isn't really very good value at all - best avoided I think.

There was 10 per pack of asparagus in my local one.
