I'd go to the supermarket, they aremuch much cheaper?
Online the sweets are about £2 - odd for a quarter, whereas in tescos, Morrisons etc, they're about 80p. A big difference....I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Yes, but you cant buy old fashioned pineapple chunks, cola cubes or cherry lips from a supermarket.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

got my order from the happysweetshop this morning so i'd recommend them
I bought
5 packs fizz wizz
5 dip dabs
5 sherbert dips
bag of black jacks
bag of refreshers
10 wham bars
made it all into a hamper using a cheap basket off ebay.
we've got a local shop thast may be able to help you get the ones you mentioned - they have hundreds of old fashioned big sweet bottles and you can buy quarters. delivery starts from £2.45 for the uk

Have you got an indoor market or good sunday market near you?
Our local indoor market has a massive range and we also have an old fashioned sweet shop in town with wall to wall sweets :dance:0 -
Have you tried the 99p shop & poundland? They are selling quite a few retro sweets at the mo including coconut mushrooms & Jazzies.
Try your local newsagents you'll be surprised at how many of the same sweets they sell which we now call retro . They are a lot smaller now. To be honest though I'd rather but them wrapped or in packets for obvious reasons.0 -
Asda does have some of the old fashioned sweets - I got dip dabs, sherbert dips, fruit salad bars, refresher barsetc from there last week.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
