A great feeling when-----

Finally , all creditors have accepted my propsed payment plan to them.

And it is a great feeling getting the statements and seeing that there is a reduction in the balance and not the balance staying the same as the intrest has been paid off only.

My credit record is shot to pieces , but as I never want credit again , that is not an issue

Things couldnt be better. Since tackling this problem , I have slept better and my performance at work is "exemplary" and have been given a pay rise.

At the part time job , I am now doing more hours and have also got my PC work which is earning me a lot of dosh at weekend.

The debt issue was definatley knocking me down and in January , my girlfriend visited. She new somethign was wrong as I want my usual self. Now our relationship is great , we talk daily and I plan to go there at somepoint (cash allowing this year)

Have learnt that things like car servicing must be done by me. I must not go out 4 nights a week. But financially things are on the up

Keep your chin up. I'm 6 1/2 years into my DMP with about 2 years to go. As I've said on previous posts I actually look forward to my monthly statements coming through the post now as I can see all the hard work I've done is really paying off. When I get my fed up of being in debt / lack of motivation times etc, I get my earliest statements out & put them next to my last statements just to see in writing how well I've done & to give me the extra kick up the #### that I need. 2 years & counting!

Great news JK an inspiration to me.

I've just come on board + have had my interview with CCCs. Its great to talk to someone + feel better for it BUT when they say it will take 20yrs

I think I'm going to have to put a thread of my own on to find out how you guys have done it. Plenty of questions but don't want to take up JK's momment.
