i want to be a hippo. lol!
I own a house. I think that prices are too high and could crash. possibly should-morally and all
would suck for me. be nice for my kids.
I want our economy to recover and people to have jobs
that is the extent of my not very coherent argument0 -

hippos are actually surprisingly dangerous. Rather agressive, despite rather dopey appearance. I'm happy with being a flea.

Not at all, LOL, the men tend to think more in terms of bear or bull I do believe. It's fine to think what you think and believe what you believe without it being about labels or self-interest.

I'm with you there (except for the hippo bit!). Exactly, how are our kids going to have a chance with prices as high as they've been? But I don't see why it should suck for us? If we sell, we've got to buy again - prices are all relative. I didn't earn the HPI attached to my house so I don't see it as profit. I'm sure the govt'll find some way of relieving me of any that's left anyway!
Welcome to the board TKC.

My opinion is that Crash Gordon want to avoid a crash at all costs until after the election. IR's are at record lows and there's a lot of optimism and positive spin around, so it seems like a good time to buy.
In reality, interest rates will be forced up at some point, the crash will continue and it'll be obvious it was just a suckers rally/bull trap.0 -

Please come back......it can be fun sometimes..not all doooomm and gloooomm.:D
Is your income/sector so so? Do you love your street? Are you coping with slightly higher utilities and food costs? If yes...then life's not so bad.
Could be worse. My Grandad bought off plan in 193o something then ended up paying a mortgage on a house that was beneath an anti aircraft firing base and his street was bombed continuously for 4 years.0 -
