Christening gift for 10 year old boy

Hi everyone,
My OH has been asked to be a Godfather for his neice and nephew in a couple of weeks.
It's a joint Christening and a gift for his neice is no problem - I thought we could get her a bracelet with a couple of nice charms on it (her initials and maybe a cross) so that she can keep it and add to it as she gets older.
But what can we get for a 10 year old boy?
My OH says his nephew will just want a computer game but I don't think that's a Christening gift!
Does anyone have any good ideas (that won't cost too much)?

Hi
It is a difficult one but how about something like a silver coin from the Royal Mint:
http://www.royalmint.com/store/BritishSilver/BR09ST.aspx
They also have a section for christening's but some of it is aimed at babies. You can filter your search depending on your budget too. It's something a bit different that he can keep.
Or how about a quaich?

He is a bit young but what about engraved cufflinks to use when he is older?

Or a St Christopher pendant?
Good luck!

How about a watch? You can get nice looking reasonably inexpensive ones.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0

Hi Katiesam,
When we got married, my nephew (9 at the time) was our best man and we bought him an engraved chrome solitaire game, which he loved.
It was like THIS and we had it engraved.
Others I thought might be nice for you are
THIS engraved puzzle game or THIS engraved yo-yo.
I also found a CD case like THIS one, but engraved (can't find it now but I found it yesterday by googling), which you could use to put his computer game in if you wanted to push the boat out!
HTH a little!
