Just a moan!

Options
Sorry before I start but this is just a moan really and probably on the wrong thread!

I'm trying to get straight with money. I'm self employed and working as many hours as I can around two children in school etc etc. Twice now i've cancelled all clients to wait in for British Gas to do the annual service. Twice they've cancelled without letting me know. I've already decided (regarding another thread) to cancel the agreement but wondered if i'm within my rights to get the money back i've paid out as they've not stuck to their side of the agreement. Probably not but surely they can't get away with this. Any advice?

Many thanks.

Nothing left!

Npower didn't turn up to switch my meter over to Economy 7, I had a phone call from the contracter mid morning after I had waited in. I phoned Npower themseleves to arrange a new appointment and was told I would get £20 back.

A letter arrived a few days later, apparently if they let you down then they give you £20 each time. it would be worth seeing if your company has a similar policy.

Certainly no harm trying...have a look at your contract & see what they agreed to do & write them a stroppy letter...

It is so annoying when they do that! Grrrrrrr! Makes my blood boil! Especially when you EVEN try and pin them down to am or pm these companies get really shirty - and you're like 'HELLO I HAVE TO WORK TOO!'
