Hi all,
I have a query. I have been BR in London since 7 september. I was told that the OR would contact me for a preliminary interview 3 or 4 days later. After a week I called them and I was told that they were very busy. Since that, I spoke thrice with the person dealing with my case, and in all three occasions she said that she was was very busy and had no had a chance to process it. Now it has been seven weeks and I still have no spoken to anyone (my case has no complications...no assets or anything). Now, I wonder whether to call her again, but I do not want to bug her if she is drowning in work. What do you advise? Thanks for any suggestion.

Have you received any paperwork at all from them?0

Hi JC
No, no paperwork at all. Every time I call she says she will process the case and give me a call in a few days...but then nothing happens. I don't want to bother her, but I would like to have some closure.0 -
Reason for asking was if they sent you things for signing they sometimes hide away in the letter that no interview is required at this stage.
They have an eight week target for sending out a report to creditors, so based on that you should get something soon. Or maybe a phone call to the OR's office and ask to speak to the Assistant Official Receiver assigned to your case - that should get things moving along.0 -
Hi JCS1, I have received no letter, form, or anything...just no contact whatsoever other than when I called the OR's office. In fact I spoke to the person to whom the case has been assigned... all three times. It is this person who told me that there werevery busy and that they will get back to me if they needed..but they have not. I have no assets other than a 300 pound car, but next month is MOT due and I would like to know whether I will be able to keep it or not.0
