What are the best Telecomms jobs for Service leavers ?

I am due to leave the RAF after over 9 yrs of Telecomms / Electronics experience and training therefore as part of my resettlement I am entitled to undertake training courses (of my choice) - my question is which elements of the Telecomms trade is predicted to be booming ? I have heard various rumours about the Railway tracks undertaking massive work and have heard about Air Blown fibre being the 'next big thing' - any advice would be hugely appreciated as I want to choose the most relevant training courses before leaving !
