We had historic Scotland membership for a year, so we've been to lots of these, Stirling Castle is still my favourite.

    Thanks for posting, OP.:D

Does anyone know if this is for adults too? The link takes you to the page saying free kids visits through November, but if we could all get in for free that would be fabby.

Just bumping this back up since it's this weekend but to #3 yes, it's adults too, no entry fee what so ever, but it will be busy. It wont be as bad as last year where there were horrific queues and jam packed crowds as it's on a Monday which should be a school day for most ;) I would go early if I were you.

Also free films at the Edinburgh playhouse

and dont forget the free fireworks on the 30th in Princes Street Gardens

So much on that weekend and it's all free :)

    ST ANDREW'S DAY
As part of St Andrew's Day (Monday 30th November), the Highland Wildlife Park and Edinburgh Zoo are opening for free!

The Edinburgh zoo post made me think that the Highland Wildlife Park may be doing the same thing and they are. Shame it's a Monday I missed out last year because I didn't know about it.

  • Don't forget the free days out this weekend and on Monday, also worth checking out the Homecoming Scotland website for the "final fling" this weekend across the country.
