Hi
I'm new to this forum but was hoping someone could help me
I currently have a loan with HSBC , I pay £171 a month and have never missed a payment. I recently (after reading this website) realised I was paying payment protection insurance. I was 17/18 when I took out the loan and earn £22k a year now.
My question is was I mis-sold this and should I try and claim it back? or at least am I allowed to cancel the insurance now? i think its about £20-£30 a month and i still have another 18months left so would help me a lot!
