Hi
Has anyone asked Halifax for consent to let recently? What does it entail, do they usually agree and how much do they charge? I'm guessing it will be a lot more expensive than the SVR?
Thanks for your help.

yes, I asked a few weeks ago and they said no, you need to have a certain amount of equity (can't remember how much, sorry) and they will want to put you on a higher interest rate. Ring them up and ask to speak to a mortgage advisor, they can arrange for one to phone you or you can go into a branch.
sorry not much help.
I got peed off with them cos when they realised I wasn't eligable for/interested in a new mortgage product all they wanted to do was flog me home insurance (for a house i'm moving out of in 1 month ) Wiggly:heartpulsFB0
