Dyeing artificial flowers

My father has some artificial hydrangea mopheads which he simply plugs into his hanging baskets when his summer flowers give up the ghost.
They look pretty good and provide cheerful winter colour but, after a few years use, have begun to fade.
Can anyone suggest a dye I could use to re-colour them? I need a fairly basic light blue and medium pink.
