Selling Vinyl Records - Where?

I would like to make some money by selling some of a 60's vinyl collection - does anyone know of the best place or way to do this apart from E-bay?

Hey treacle. Perhaps you can try doing an online search for free classifieds and then post a couple of ads. Not sure where you're located, here in the UK I've managed to sell a few things by posting free ads on gumtree.com. Worked a treat! Good luck!

Have you got an independant record shop around you, the one around here used to buy some records second hand or put them on a specialised website and people were able to contact the buyer direct too.

Sometimes there are also record fairs in some cities too (or there were) and maybe this is another option if your willing to wait a bit and sell them that way?

I'd say with the exception of ebays cut Ebay would be the best place.

I do a lot of buying vinyl and ebay is a great place to find rare vinyl for buyers and a great place for the seller as nowhere else can offer a huge market like ebay.

Although I would recommend seeing what sort of prices the are currently going for on ebay. You may be surprised and disappointed with some. Also make your descriptions as good as possible as it can make a big difference for the bidder.
