they do sell playmobil but not that much,I noticed that they had got some new sylvanian toys in.

I've just been ringing around about Sylvanian families they seem to stock some of the smaller sets but I can't find any of the houses or bigger things. They did say it would be worth checking once the sale has started though.

Well now I don't know what to do!! Can't get back in touch with my manager friend who said Wed but have phoned the shop and had a very suspicious answer of 'ooooo I'm not tooo sure were having a sale ah yes here it is it's Thursday...' can't help feeling they've been told to tell people who ring a diffrent day! Why can't I trust anyone??? Have had the kids minded tonight so i could go tomorrow bymyself and have now got myself into a right hooha of not knowing what to do!! (rantover)

Hi I have just phoned my local store who have said that it is tomorrow but they did not think that it was going to be 50% and that it would 25%, i am totally confused i wish that they would just confirm and they would have lots of happy customers!

just rang my local again!
lady on customer services didn't know anything,she asked someone in 'toys' and came back to the phone very 'cagey' saying they don't know anything and asking me where I had heard about it (of course I acted very dumb! giving away nothing ) I said surely they must know if its starting tomorrow but no they didn't!.
I got the feeling they thought I was ringing from one of their competitors! :rotfl:

I was told thursday in my local by a supervisor on the shop floor today.

Hi, Just rang my local store (letchworth) and she said that it starts on Thursday and when i asked if it would be online aswell, she said she should think so! So not a definite answer but there is hope! I am looking for Sylvanian families things too, and they do the bigger stuff online so i really hope shes right! My daughter brought the Grand Hotel with her birthday money at the Entertainer for £100, its £74 on sainsburys online so half that price would be an amazing saving, shame we already have it!

My sons school is 2mins from a sainsburys so tomorrow after I drop him off guess where I will be going lol! x

Oh man! I thought it was going to be tomorrow, this is my day off so would be perfect to go then to a big store near home. Now if it starts on Thursday, the store near my work is not as good and sells limited stock. Looks like an early morning shop on Saturday is called for! Luckily the kids are away for the weekend with their Dad so can have peace to have a look around.
