Making HM boil in the bag fish

Hey just wondered if anyone can help I love the convenience of boil in the bag fish, (if you know the type I mean often has a sauce with it, all types of fish, prawns, salmon). However often it doesnt taste as nice as if I made the fish myself. I wondered if anyone knew how I could make my own boil in the bag fish that I could make in advance, freeze and just pop in the oven from frozen. I think I remember reading in one of Jamie Olivers books that he used to do this for his wife. Sorry for rambling post hopefully someone will know what I mean.

  • I dont know about boil in the bag type meals but maybe you could put a piece of fish in some sauce in a foil wrap and freeze them so you can just take them out and pop them in the oven. Just a thought :-)

I think I remember the Jamie Oliver ones from the TV series - I think he prepared fresh fish by putting it with herbs etc. into little greaseproof paper folded into a bag so they baked/oven-steamed.
  • Thank you both do you think if I made up a pouch of either parchment paper or tinfoil I could freeze it, then just shove in the oven
