Well if you can get me a phone number then perhaps I would have. The £8 was a Barclays bank charge ( not from HFC ). HFC agreed to collect on the 28th not the 22nd. If it had been honoured, my agreement with Barclays would have been null and void and I would have been on my way to getting my home repossed.

I come to this forum for help and advice not critism. I need a number, but if it isnt on their website http://www.hfcbank.co.uk/html/contactus.html and the telephone number to my local office is dead, how on earth do I get in contact with them. The only option was to cancel the d/d so they got in touch with me and also to keep my agreement in place. If you can help, then please do. If not, then please keep your belittleing comments to yourself

I wasnt trying to belittle you,if it came across that way i appologise, but surely it would have been better to talk to hfc rather than just cancel the d/d thats all i was saying:beer:
