Self employment help

Hi folks,, not sure if this is the right place, but can anybody point me in the right direction for info on self-employment. I am employed full time and pay my taxes via PAYE, but wish to outsource my services via self-employment, how do i handle tax, ni (do i need to pay as i am already paying) or should i start a ltd company.
Or should i go get some financial advice

Dave. There is lots of information out there, so unless you want to pay £100's for financial advice, think carefully!!
Are you saying you want to go self employed, as well as being employed? If so you really only need to contact the Inland Revenue, and put aside a small amount of money for your Tax Bill. Also contact the National Insurance and pay your stamp. As for starting a Limited Company, well that is upto you. What is it you hope to benefit from if you do so?
