argos voucher/card question if anyone can help please?

Hi my dad is currently in hosp quite ill and the only thing he seems to be looking forward to is xmas! he has one of the hospital tvs and saw the spend 50 pound get 5 pound voucher offer advert so he asked for a argos book to be brought to the hospital! anyhows he has picked out a couple of little bits for the kids and he wants me to collect them for him does anyone know if you go to the quick pay thingy do you still get your vouchers? and also if you pay at one of them and use a argos card do u sign if it doesnt have a chip? thanks

    Yes you need to sign for it, you get 2 receipts printed out and you take them both to your point to collect your items. SA gets you to sign one for paying for it then you keep the other as your receipt.
    I assume you are wanting to use your dads card to pay?

    Why don't you order the things online and have them delivered and then you can use his card?

    Hi there i used to quick pay machine yesterday and never had to sign anything just used chip and pin hope this helps

  • Hi I did the same yesterday reserved all my items and used chip and pin at the express points, the voucher(s) is printed automatically on your receipt.

    Yes, but you will have to sign as stated above if the card does not have a chip.

    I have never been asked to sign anything when using the quick pay machines.

    One slip is your copy and the other is to pick up the item.
    Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.

    Yes thats because you will have a chip, so you enter your pin on the quick pay machine
    OP's dads card doesnt have a chip you have to sign for it
