What do I do with a money order?!

I have been sent a money order from the States for $6 (an ebay transaction gone wrong!). My bank laughed and told me it would cost £8 to exchange it. It seems a waste not to do something with it - so any bright ideas? Nothing too rude please as I am of a delicate dispostition!!

This is not a problem at all. I cash all my money orders at http://www.auctionpix.co.uk
Cheaper than the bank and clears faster. I am not affiliated with them.
