Proof of buy to let mortgage

Hi There

Im just about to go to my bank and finalise my new mortgage - they havent asked at all if I have a buy to let mortgage (I dont)

Im not sure if Im going to let it out as I want to sell it (have equity in it)

I called my mortgage company and they will not allow me to let anyway so I couldnt obtain that anyway

So....

Has anyone else taken out another mortgage on a house and not been asked anything on the other mortgage

I don't understand your question.

If you own a property with a residential mortgage, and are applying for a remortgage on a residential basis, why would they ask whether you have a BTL mortgage? It's irrelevant.

But if you are remortgaging on a residential basis whilst intending to let the property, that is a fraudulent mortgage application.
