Gerradene wrote:Today i have spent £3.19 on a hot chocolate and a cake (not very DFW)
I have been unwell and spent quite a bit on hot lemon drink sachets and paracetamol and decongestants.
I am officially off the DFW wagon as i am going clothes shopping tomorrow. I need clothes for work as when i started this job it was october last year and went out and spent some money on geting 'office-wear' suits and blouses. Now i want some summery clothes and more than two blouses. i'm not planning on going crazy, i have a budget and an idea of the things i want.
Have a good weekend everyone xxBLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!

It wasn't lack of will power I just forgot I'm not to spend any money! I'm going to make a note to put on the door to tell me I'm allowed to buy NOTHING!!!!
I wouldn't mind, but I don't drink tea or coffee, it was a treat for my hubby! Stomps of grumpily!
Am I the only person who doesn't know what a coffee/tea man is that might call at the house? Woudn't like to feel I was missing out!
I've just spent £38.40 on a whole load of dog food, cat food, fish food and chicken feed. It will last at least a couple of months and is so much cheaper to buy in bulk.
It's payday today and I've got an urge to browse the shops tomorrow but I am going to be good and avoid them, whilst treating myself to a Tempur pillow to help my poorly neck. I've got the cheap Argos version but it's worn out after only a year and a physio tells me Tempur will last forever.Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -
Had a call from the dentist today - they had a cancellation for this afternoon - would i like to go? Well, not really coz no-one likes pain and spending for the privilege but I thought it best to get it over with!!
So i have had two replacement fillings, and a scale and polish. Although I have lovely white teeth and my teeth fixed, I have a very numb mouth, a tingly tongue and am £42.40 worse off! The good news - I dont have to go again til next March:T
So much for MS today......Experience is the toughest teacher because she gives the test first then the lesson

I haven't spent anything today apart from to pay my 50p subs to the bowling kitty - some people from work are saving up for a bowling trip later in the year and we put 50p a week away.
However, returned home to find my CC statement had come. They have charged me £25 'over limit fee' which has taken me exactly £15 over my limit?! If they hadn't charged this I would not have been over my limit. I am so narked about this, the thieving bandits! Well that's the last penny they make out of me. My 0% cards should both arrive this week and then it's goodbye MBNA Pah!Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -
