    I haven't tried to replace the syrup with honey.... but I dont think it would be a problem.... it would just give it a different taste.
    I have added all sorts of stuff to Twinks Hobnobs... they all turn out well.
    I quite like covering them in chocolate :D
  • Honey instead of syrup in Twink's hobnobs is lovely. I don't tend to have syrup in the house but I do always have honey, so I've always used that and there's never been a problem. They're lovely if you add some ground or crystallised ginger too.

    Just a thought about baking/cooking equipment. Try Freegle (was Freecycle), people are always having a clear out. Charity shops and carboot sales are a good source too.
