service charge after br

hi all
went br about a month ago and all is well.
one question though , i have moved from my flat stopped paying the mortgage and am waiting for repo,
there is a service charge and ground rent on the flat also that i am no longer paying. will the arrears for this while im waiting for the repo also be included in the br??

    Yes, they should be included at least up to the date of BR after BR not sure if you'd still be liable for them.

  • I would have thought that after BR you would still be liable, afterall we are still liable for council tax after the initial 6 months period.. it depends how they bill it i guess..
    if you received a yearly bill prior to the BR then that would be included but if it is a monthly bill they will still want it paying
