Where can I find 'Ratafia Essence' (almond-type flavouring)?

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can find 'Ratafia Essence' - made from bitter almonds or the kernels of peaches or apricots?

The company below used to make it/manufacture it, but apparently no longer and I can't find any info on the company, anyway:

I don't think you can buy ratafia essence anymore, at least not under that name. What you need to look for is a really good almond extract (not essence) which will generally have bitter almond extract in it. You can buy really good quality almond extract here or from Lakeland (I think Waitrose stock this too). It's not cheap, but like good vanilla extract it lasts for ages as you don't need to add a lot.
