DMP and bankruptcy

I am currently in a DMP after my IVA failed due to the repayments becoming unaffordable due to a loss of income .
The company transferred me to a dmp and I have £32500 debt.
Some of my debts are defaults on my credit file - Do I still have to contribue anything to these creditors or could that money go towards paying off the creditors under my DMP who havent defaulted me
Thanks

Hi Paul
You need to get advice on whether bankruptcy is the right route....there are many variables....for example you may get a new job & be able to recommence the DMP in the near future so BR may be too drastic at this stage.
Every situation is different & BR is always the absolute last resort but please get advice from CAB/CCCS or Nat Debtline for as much info as you can.
If your unemployment situation is temporary then how about just paying £1 until there is a firm decision on the way forward. As long as you pay something then most creditors are willing to give a little breathing space.
Btw - If BR is the route for you then it would be frowned upon by the OR if you have paid one creditor over another.0
