I find the price of this stuff is way OTT the person that created it is sitting in a big house somewhere :rotfl:I for one would not fund the people that are laughing at us, just like the banks ( and i could be rude but i won't ) please do not feed these people0 -

You could say that about most toy brands. Helpful posts on Grabbit, like rhubarb's, mean that at least people don't have to pay the original RRP which is way OTT.0 -
I am a big fan of sylvanians, but would not pay full price for any of the stuff. The bargains are around if you keep an eye out.
For example my daughter got the hotel this year for £45 from argos. Last year she got the caravan from debenhams for £18.
Sylvanians are the only toy that my daughter will play with regularly and they are great for imaginative play and intricate fine motor skills (she got the dressing table this year and it has makeup which is unbelievably small and you need good hand eye coordination to play with.)
Its like with anything in life you have to pay for quality and sylvanians are definately quality - but you can get a deal on anything if you look hard enough.0 -
True, they are expensive. But I also look at the resell factor. These go for nearly how much you paid for them on ebay. Its a classic 80s toy at the end of the day, just like barbies, transformers etc. They are still played with today, so in 2-3 years time when shes had enough of them I will be sticking the whole lot on ebay to get money to buy her the next 'toy craze'.
I see it as an investment too...........:heart2::heart2::heart2: I LOVE MY BEAGLE! :heart2::heart2::heart2:0 -
