I forgot to say, they also have big yellow stickers with barcodes on, look like they might be quite hard to remove! I'm trying to decide whether to return any/all. They have either sold out from Debenhams, or are not in the sale anymore, but are full price again now.
Even 2 other toys I bought that have strong boxes were slightly damaged, I'm keeping them though as I got them for 1/2 price and are both now at full price again.

I think that's the worst thing about Debenhams- their prices are good, they have great sales, delivery is quick,you can usually get free p&p, BUT they insist on sending everything in plastic bags! I ordered my mum a set of biscuit tins last year and they were so dented when they arrived, and this year I ordered my nephews a castle and it looked second hand - the box was all torn and broken. Its false economy for them because so many people must return things for this reason.

WH Smith have some Sylvanian families things in their 25% off sale. Other bits too like lego. No caravan though.
