Boots Shopping Nights - Advantage points galore!

Just been to collect my shopping I ordered off line from the store and the guy gave me a leaflet for what I am guessing is the start of late night Christmas shopping (sorry).
For every £50 spent, they are giving £12 in advantage points back. I'm guessing this is nationwide.
Better than a kick in the teeth if you're a big spender over the jolly (expensive) season :rotfl:

I'd guess you have to split...per point 2.

You can spend £100 in one go and get 2400 points.
Point 2 is just meaning that you need to spend £50 in one go. Not buy something for £20 then buy something else in another transaction for £30 and get the 1200 points, it needs to be paid for in the 1 transaction. Same if you bought £70 worth then went back and bought £30 worth, you wouldnt get 2400 points then just the 1200 for crossing the £50 mark first time.
So when you go, keep adding up what you are buying so you dont go to the till with just less than £50 or £100 worth of stuff.
Also refers to the infant milk, this doesnt count towards your £50 spend as you cant get points on these. So if you are getting any then you cant include this in your £50.
I was working on a make up counter in boots last year at these events, it was great the commission I was getting on products as people came to my till to pay and would come up with £90 of things so I was persuading them to get something from my counter to hit past the £100 mark!0 -
Just wanted to ask as i've never been to one of these nights, or shopped online when they've had the extra points offer...the current 3 for 2's that they have on (exclusing the xmas offers) will they still be on on the night? eg. they have 3 for 2 on selected mens toiletries, would this still be on? or do they take all offers off?
Thanks!0 -
As far as I can remember, 3 for 2s are still on but any extra points offers arent0

I ordered some Boots vouchers from MBNA Lifestyle for this xmas event. 9% off! :j0
