self employment earnings

Hi
i am going bankrupt in a month and just want to know if I will need to provide my bank statements to prove my earnings - I don't have an official set of 'accounts' as I only earn about £75 per week.
What proof will they need or do they automatically check everyones accounts when filing for bankruptcy?

if you are self employed you will have to submit a self assesment to HMRC regardless of income.

They ( HRMC) will usually send you one ( that's if you mean a self assessment form?) The OR will ask for accounts ( basic overview) just ask her/him what they want, shouldn't think they will want much seeing its only £75 per week. Have you got some sort of paper trail for your income from SE?Better to be poor than a slave to wealth

Hi, I was onlt earning £44 a month but they still - the OR that is - asked for my accounts, I did them but i'm very fussy about doing every thing properly. I guess as long as you have have some thing to give them it really shouldn't be a problem.0

I didn't have any current year's accounts. I only had 'incomplete accounts' - my accountant was one of my creditors. It wasn't a problem.

The OR understands that people dont always keep accounts before the bankruptcy but will expect you to keep details of turnover and expenditure after the bankruptcyHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
