One thread on the same subject helps people give you better answers as all the relevant information is there. Once it starts splitting up then you get a lot of repetition and no great extra help.

I'm only trying to help you get answers that are more relevant but if you don't want that help then I'll leave you to it.
Hahaha the reason the thread has gone off track is because you posted your original comment :p

Yes it really was off track to discover that the OP had £420k from an inheritance and £375 from a house sale ( perhaps bought another house with this though) courtesy of the other thread that I suggested the OP stick to.

Perhaps this might help with the retirement options.

Jem16 & Bendix I do not nor have I ever had £420,000 from an inheritance ( I wish I had) only a sum from a house sale after losing someone very dear to me. I suggest you both check you facts before either of you add slanderous statements on these forums. Be carefull or one of these days yours posts will be reported as abuse which I must admit I was tempted to do on reading you two posts.

Whether it helps with the retirement options is none of your damned business!

Your post from March 08 said you did.

Which is an inheritance. However from your post

there was no mention of an inheritance, only a house sale.

There was nothing slanderous about either of those statements as they were taken from your own posts. Unless of course you are slandering yourself?

Please do report my post if you feel I've written anything wrong. I've simply quoted your own text which I felt may have been relevant to the thread. After all £375k ( and what appeared to be £420k also) is a large amount of money which could allow you to retire early should you wish.
Whether it helps with the retirement options is none of your damned business!

    No more needs said then.

gem has said it all really.

The OP seems very cavalier with the truth. In one post she expressly says it is an inheritance, and now it's not. But of course none of that is our damned business.

And then we have this thread where the OP is bizarrely asking for advice on some tiny tiny pension fund which hardly seems worth worrying about.

    It's all rather strange.
