tea? cheese, ham, potatoes, eggs

wondering if anyone has any ideas.

Normally I layer all the above in a dish with a white sauce and cook it up (aka Bernard matthews free recepie on the turkey ham packet a few years back),

Bored of this now...... anyone got something a bit different??

I do have quite a stash of food in having just done a big online shop so may be able to find other ingrdients if required.

Thanks in advance.

Spanish Omlette - parboil potatoes and then fry with onion, add ham shredded and then make up the omlette with the eggs and add cheese on top and grill to brown.

Potato Pie - Mash pots, put in oven dish, make holes in the middle of it (1 or 2 per person), break in eggs into the holes and then cover the top with grated cheese. Put in the oven and cook until eggs are set and the top is crispy. Fry up ham until crispy and serve with it.

spanish omelette immediately springs to mind, or cheese and ham omelette with potato wedges? Not amazingly creative I'm afraid - but both are easy.

  • If you are making the pie you can use up other veg in your mash - I like onions in mine but have made it with left over cauliflower, brocolli and carrots before.

It is nice served with baked beans

not too big a problem - i never buy fresh veg as only me and babywiggle to eat it - if i put it in any dish i have to make 2 as DH doesn't eat ANY!!

mmmmmmmmmm - tho had beans last night.... perhaps spaghetti tonight.

    hello

This combination of foods would go really well in the following ways -

    1. Omlette
    2. Frittata
    3. Tortilla
    4. Baked potato with grated cheese
    5. Cheese and potato pie - if you have an onion
    6. Quiche - if you have shortcrust pastry or can make it
