I'm sure your local library would have some videos/dvds.
Alternatively you could try ebay/car boot sales etc.
With these types of classes I often think it's best to watch the exercise being performed a couple of times to pick up the teaching points before you have a go. But videos/dvds can be very useful for exercising at home and there are some good ones with good teaching.
Another way to target your lower ab region is to use a stability ball. These are basically those big rubber blow up balls.
For example, to help strengthen lower ab muscles, many sports physios recommend lying on your back placing a fitball/stability ball (same thing really) between your knees, lifting your feet off the floor so that knees are in line over the hips and squeezing the ball by squeezing your knees together.
There are loads of these types of exercises for your abs that can be done using a fitball.
You might be able to pick one of these up cheaply, and I'm sure there are videos/dvds for these as well.0 -
I have a fitball lol, but didnt have a clue what to do with it hehe! Thnx for the tip on what to do with it....now it may be a bit useful having the ball!0
