Are Netto still doing their Kronenbourg 24x330ml crates for £7.99? The french import ones - damn nice stuff. Bought 3 crates but almost down to the last one already and was supposed to be saving it for the world cup!

Anyone know where I can get cheap Czech Bud's (Budvar)? (Outside of Czech Rep obviously!) Tesco have them at £1.30 for 500ml, Macro do a case of 20 for £17.99 + VAT. Anyone do any better or has anyone been to France recently and seen how much they are over there?

Have you tried Tesco's own Czeq lager, Vratislav?
It's £1 per 500ml bottle and is good stuff. It's the same as the own brand Czeq lager sold by Co-op and Somerfield as well.

It's brewed by Praske Pivovar (makers of Staropramen).

I'm having a big party and being a tight-!!!!!!, this is what i've been doing.

I've done a quick spreadsheet with all the various deals on and I reakon that Asda is the best... for example buy the right fosters deal and it works out at 90p a litre, budweiser (stubbies) for 1.33 a litre and stella bottles 1.41 per litre.... also, VHF is a good price if your into that (1.61 a litre)... The way I see it, the size of the cans, etc, etc is irrelevant - it's the litres that matter.

Anyway, adas 2 for £16 is the way to go - but, then couple it with the £10 off £30 and £10 off £35 voucher taht are around and it's unbeatable - adding making it more like 2 for £14 (when you take into account postage).

    - obviously the adeed bonus is that it's delivered.... watch out for the substitutions - they really messed mine up today... check the receipts and moan.

    - register under the wifes name and reuse the vouchers, too..

Labbats at netto is a decent deal at 0.85 a litre - but the extra vouchers on asda just pip it (depending on if you prefer labbats or fosters).

I had a very quick look at tescos and generally as someone else said - it's shaft.

Finally, if your into this kind of thing - buying from tesco with the 1000 points on a £50 spend is also a very good way of doing it - I ordered smirnoff vodka from there - because their 1lt price beat asdas 700ml price, very slightly (13.00 a litre instead of 14.28 a litre). But the £40 voucher thing swung it for me.

I think all this messing will save me £50 at least on my party.

    How sad is that?

My local Thresher had a deal on Brahama lager today - 24 bottles for £9.99 (I think), but they had run out.

    No great loss - it's horrible:p

If you're a lager boy then Auntie Stella is hard to beat. AFAIK, the 20x440ml cans are usually the best deal. The RRP is around £16.99 and are discounted regularly from £14.99 in Tesco, £13.99 in Morrisons but have been seen at a liver-destructing £9.99 in Sainsbury's a little while back. I'm banking on this one for the World Cup

Ah, and you must work for the extraneous apostrophe company, I presume?

However, remember that the correct spelling of Sainsburys is "Sainsbury's"

As expected the Lidl stocks were running a bit low when I stocked up on Bud last night. Asked the guy and he reckons they are replenishing the shelfs on thursday.

In answer to the guy with the litre beer calculator (JPrice) welcome to money saving mate they are some brilliant ideas if you buy in bulk - just one thing to add. If you spend £100 in Tescos there is a valid token on the web for £15 off which definitely works I used it yesterday for normal groceries (which includes beer). Martin doesn't like these posted - so you'll have to find it. Buying in bulk for a party is always going to be a good wheeze I reckon the litre price on the 2 for £16 would come right down with the discount even without the points. (I'm rambling now had too many Buds) Chow.
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.

Tesco have 20x440ml Stella cans at £12.99. Normal codes apply so could be a good deal unless you know better:beer:
