What hope have i got

Hello. Just a quick question. Been renting for quite awhile now , fed up with it and want my own flat. Have 20 - 25k as a deposit and looking ( hopefully ) in the price range of 120k - 130k . I have no ccjs and a good credit history. One problem though is that i work in the construction industry as a sub-contractor. I have worked for the same company for over two years and have work for at least a year in the forseable future.

So , do i have chance of getting a mortgage ????

Thanks

I think the advice is to get a professional accountant to do your wages and then you can present them to a bank. Self cert is almost gone.

Yes you do have a chance in theory

But whether or not you have a chance in reality will depend on what income figures you have to show for it, along with the rest of your scenario

Why do you feel a self-cert is needed? Presumably you have some proof of income?

Self cert is not needed. As long as you are paying tax, hence, proof like p60's you should be fine.

Each lender works in different ways.

The only question would be if you have worked for the same company each time and if so, have you been renewed.

You have two choices, use an independent mortgage adviser or financial adviser to do the hardwork - or..... go shopping around!

You should be able to get this agreed on a full status basis
