If you were more local i'd invite you round for dinner, nothing but the best for Lynzpower & her darling OH! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
There *was* a gilr on here who basically lived on porridge and lentils for £2.50 a week - in very dire straights. Compared to that I bet LP eats like a queen.Debt free 4th April 2007.

Lynz - now that you have told me that you are living well on the £25 budget I'm a believer! I think I was a bit cynical about it before for some bizarre reason - I couldn't quite fathom it. Any advice Lynz on where I would start so to speak? Me and OH are veggie btw.
I am seeing this as a direct challenge. I know I can do it as I do a lot of cooking from scratch anyway. Also have a breadmaker....gawd sorry am rambling.
I hope the porridge and lentils girl is ok! I do like porridge and lentils (apart from the windy consequences!) but I guess a bit of variety would do you good!"Debt makes plans for you" - A quote from my friend Catherine. How true!0 -

cheeky monkeys! lynz and annie for hijacking the thread
to the OP, have you decided to take up any of the suggestions posted by the lovely people on here. I found that when I first posted (about a few days ago), i got lots of encouragement and some straight talk and i took action straightaway, which really made me feel like I was finally doing something to fix my debt.
I would get on the phone with the creditors and ask them about reducing your interest rates. it's a good easy thing you can do and it makes you proactive. also, have a surf for cheaper broadband and if you're partial to any of the deals and not tied into a contract, make the switch. Instant savings.
Let us know how you're getting on.MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)
