Argos Glitch on 2 for £15 toys

to update my post ARGOS would NOT honour my email print out and charged me £15.00 got the manager and he said he couldnt over ride the price??? he tried to say its an internet only offer and I would have to pay postage!!! asked me to print out the page!!!!! to state it is NOT internet only!!! is it worth it for £2.50???? I will name the store if people want!!! with Woolworths closing not many places in town to shop around, I have also saved like mad for vouchers so dont want to start spending cash!! ( thats for me and OH)

im peeved ordered mine and sent my hubby to collect but it carged him £15 not £10 that came up when i ordered!!

i did the argos glitch got ninky nonk toy and i smile 10.00
also got the shopping trolley and doll
doll was out of stock but it still showed 5.01 for the trolley so went to argos today and got the three toys for 15.01

the man who served me asked me how i managed to get such a good price i just smiled but no problems
it did come up at the normal price but i had the email on hubby's iphone showed him that and he honoured the price

I have ordered mine online today as had other bits to order anyway and it all came out at the cheaper price. I used the free delivery code and a £10 voucher too so very happy. Thanks OP

That's probably because he pay at the kiosk, I went yesterday to collect my orders and they came out at 2 toys for £15 at the kiosk, but went to the till and it was £10 for the 2 toys... So try paying at the till...

I asked him that last night but he said he went to the counterso he could use a gift card that we had,i just printed out the order with the £10 total on and im going to pop down there later to see what they say.

I've just spent 30 mins in Argos because of just this problem. Had reserved the animal hospital babies and the I love ponies pack. They came up at £11.65 when I reserved. I have the reservation number texted to my phone so that was all I had on me.

Used the till as wanted to use my £5 cashcard and surprise surprise they came up at £15. The girl was adament this was correct and in the end I said I wanted to speak to someone on Customer Services. They were none the wiser and weren't going to budge, next stop the Manager. She again was not going to honour the price without some proof and no they were unable to access email in the store nor was I able to access my Argos account.

I then remembered my phone has internet of sorts and eventually I was able to access the email from Argos showing the price at £11.65. With a face looking like she was sucking sour grapes she put them through at this price, looked even more disgruntled when I handed over the £5 gift card!

Make sure if you do reserve items on line you print off the email or screen print your argos account showing the price you have been quoted.

I just reserved the wonder pets push along and the talking pepper pig for 13 pound and I saved the screen page and will e mail it to hubby's blackberry ready for tommorow so hopefully they will honour it if not then i wont be opening my purse lol

Went to pay and collect, used the self service thing put my reservation number in and was coming up full price for both. Went over to the tills and explained to the girl and she said those tills never come up with the offers, she put my number into the till and came up at £15!
So for anybody using the self service tills, dont! Go to a normal till!
