Estee Lauder Perfume at Harvey Nicks

Looking for help if possible - was in Edinburgh Harvey Nicks today with a friend and sales lady was handing out little cards with perfume on - she was so pushy and in your face that we couldn't wait to get away and shoved the card in my handbag.

Well the perfume is lovely and I think she said it was Estee Lauder but I also thought she said it was only available at Harvey Nicks. We were trying to get to lunch and she was being overly persistent so I didn't know if the exclusive bit was just a sales pitch or not.

Can anyone help? (I know talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face and all that!)

Could it be sensuous? Its not exclusive to HN but its their newest one
What did it smell of? Sensuous smells of Honey and Jasmin

I don't think it was Sensous - mainly because it looked like a square bottle in her hand (same kind of shape as the Gucci one but no definite colour) - I guess I'll have to phone Harvey Nicks and come up with some waffle to get the info!

Knowing comes in squareish bottle, again not exclusive to HN

Could it be Private Collection Amber& Ylang Ylang it might be worth dropping Estee Lauder an email , they might know what they are promoting in Harvey Nick's & you never know they might be able to send you a sample.

It is indeed Amber Ylang Ylang! I should have guessed as I wore Private Collection for some years a while back.

I called today and claimed my friend had been in on Saturday and smelt it and I wanted to buy it as a gift but only knew it was Estee Lauder and exclusive to Harvey Nicks. The assistant went to investigate, came back and told me what it was to which I asked if she was sure as that isn't exclusive - I know you can buy that online or via Harrods etc - Her response was great - "well you can get it elsewhere but if you buy it here it comes in an exclusive Harvey Nichols bag".

Think I'll pass on the exclusive poly bag! - I'm in London on business this week so I'll have a look in City airport on the way back and fingers crossed they have it there!

Aw that's brill :T well not that it's so difficult to get hold of , but great that you found out what it is. It's not very MSE though I thought I just found you some on Amazon for £22 but it's just a 4ml sample:eek:
