can anyone confirm that this is definitely region 2 and will play on my region 2 only dvd player? The wording on the site has confused my ickle brain!

This looks like it will be a Region 2 and Region 4 DVD so although it is the Australian Version it will still play on Region 2 (ie UK, Europe)

I recieved mine today. I cant be too ungratefull at this price but the packaging of this is the worst i have ever seen on a DVD. No stylish tin like you see when you see this in-store...far from it. It is a plastic case like a VHS case with a paper Band of Brothers cover on it. It looks very cheap and almost fake. For those of you who payed a lot more than £15 then i guess the shoddy cover and case is worth the money saved here, but for those who payed just a few ponds more....dont fret, i would have happily payed a little more for better packaging and im never one to turn down moneysaving where possibile.

By this with caution and low expectations

It sounds like a far east import as their boxsets tend to be in CHS style boxes with paper on the front.

I think there is 3 UK versions one which comes in the normal box which folds out and there is also one in a metal box and they also produced a smart limited edition version which came in an army style fold out bag with loads of extra stuff which would make a great present but have not seen them for ages but a quick search on ebay may show you what I am going on about

This doesnt fold out. It is in a plastic case and the DVDs are stacked. The case has a small paper cover in the front sleeve and nothing on the back but clear plastic and the back of the holder for the final disc. It is very questionable, but the DVDs work ok and they have normal art-work that you would expect, otherwise i would be lead to believe this is a fake. At best this is a far-east import, at worst it is a fake. It came from Hong-Kong via Germany where axelmusic is based i guess. Has anybody heard of axelmusic. The deed is done i guess, and i have all the Band of Brothers set for £15 so i wont moan too much, but it would be nice to get the genuine product as you would expect to get and not a cheaper alternative.
