we got the Focus one today and it is great, the enclosure makes the whole thing seem safer and my little one (5 years) loves it. My step daughter has also been on it and she is 13.
(myself and OH may have tested it just to make sure it works OK
)
Would never have seen these had it not been for original post as they were rather tucked away in the corner of my local store.

I think I'm right in saying Woolies had an offer on at one point and it was possible to get both the trampoline and enclosure for £79.99.
I missed it and am now thinking about buying the Focus one.0 -
Sorry to be such a pain, but does anyone have a pic of the Focus trampoline for £99.99 they could post or send me. We are after a trampoline for our son, but our nearest focus is a good 45 minutes away. I Would really love to see what it is like before I make the journey! It would be most appreciated.
thanks

I remember this being on the news but I'm sure this was on a trampoline without enclosure. The boy was doing a somersault and landed on his head on the ground so there can't have been an enclosure. I wouldn't dream of letting my kids on one without the safety net and always under supervision.Joints wrote:I once heard a story of how a kid banged his head upside down on a trampoline and died. Those things can be dangerous in the wrong hands.:smileyhea0 -
Just to add my bit - you must get an enclosure for one of these. Don't buy a trampoline without one.
My 8 yr old + a couple of friends have bounced off the safety net a couple of times - enough to make me very glad we had it.
Without it, even with you constantly supervising (which you should be) - you probably could not get around to the other side in time to catch them.
There seems to be two designs:
Mine (like the Focus one) has an interior net that lines up with the interior jump area.
The other has the net around the outside of the safety pad / outer edge - I suppose a jumper could trap their foot between the pad and the springs, which the 1st wouldn't allow, but it looks roomier.

Hi, I bought an 8ft trampoline, enclosure and weather cover all for £99.98 from TJ Hughes two weeks ago. Finally today I put it up and my 22 month old was loving it, unfortunately though I am now totally knackered!!!!
I've just looked at the box and this one recommends now more than 100kgs. Hope this helps.........No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -
I have finally given in to peer pressure and got my sons an 8ft trampoline. I searched high and low to find one, Argos is out of stock, Focus are having a delivery in either a week, 2 weeks or a month???? apparently, T.J Hughes have sold out, then I remembered good old Makro, who luckily had just had a delivery and had about 100 (which were selling like hot cakes). The only problem with this one is obviously you have to pay the 17.5% vat on top. But you do get the rain cover free with this one. Which came to a grand total of £117.00 (give or take a few pence). Just to add ,I bought an England supporter kit which was reduced to 99p and this had in it a car flag, face paints, bunting and a card that gives you an exclusive number to text to so that you can download either a free ringtone or pc screensaver.
Hope this helps somebody
