Mortgage Advice

Any help would be very much appreciated...
My wife and I are looking to remortgage our 200,000 home with a 164,000 (82%) mortgage. We're both employed full time and our combined annual income is £72500.
The thing is I'm a discharded bankrupt from October 2005(discharged 1 year later) My wife has a good credit rating. Not sure since we got married this year that changed for no other reason than a formal association
The house is currently in her name, on a self certified mortage, as at the time i wasn't touched with a barge pole. We would like (think we may need to now) declare my interest in the mortgage.
Can you recommend any mortgages or lenders out there? A little lost in the big sea of mortgages now and offer.
Thanks

Firstly - get your credit files printed off
Then have an informal chat with your current lender - see what they could offer
They may or may not be able to help based on your credit history - but at least you will know
Then you would need to see what else is on the market- either yourself or via a whole of market adviser.
However deals over 80% are not going to be that lowI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Whats the current rate on the loan.0

We're at about 6.2% but it is interest only and we want to move to a repayment.
the other option would be to stay on our current mortgage SVR rate which is considerably lower than what we have been on, and then overpay the difference to that of a repayment mortgage.0
