I think once someone has posted there SOA it should be made compulsory to post an update one month later (with changes or ideas etc)
Not only will we be able to congratulate or tut at people, but they will also see how well (or otherwise) they have done
*** And also my noseyness is satisfied and im not left wondering if they took our advice

I can see where you are coming from with that.
Hard and maybe a tad harsh to enforce though....
But I am always interested to see what changes people have made/what advice they took on board as well! (I'm as nosy as you!)Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

I was thinking about posting an updated SOA..having been on here just 2 months and made alot of visible financial changes. It would partly be a feel good factor for me, a thank you to everyone for their advice on my original SOA, an "it can be done" post that would hopefully inspire or motivate others and yeah, guess it would satisfy the nosey ones!
Wouldn't make it compulsory, as everyone goes at their own speed. I'd suggest having a separate section for Debt Diaries though - they're becoming more popular and it's a good way of keeping a record of all the ups and downs of the journey.Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -

Too harsh just to satisfy someone's curiosity.
Was a quick post i must admit, maybe more of a guideline for us to help people rather than a rule
As for my noseyness, i think you missed the joke there0 -
It would be nice to see how people are getting on and if our suggestions have made a difference to both their finances and their state of mind.
Would also help others to see that changes can be made.
I think it should be 'strongly encourage' people to repost after a month or so rather than compulsary!0
