Laptop

Hi all

I'm looking for a cheap laptop. Nothing fancy, but fairly modern spec/small etc.

I need a DVD/CD writer in it, floppy and modem. Want to be able to copy (backup) discs and watch films while on train etc.

I'm guessing around £300-£400.

Any suggesstions welcomed.

Cheers Dave :)

You won't get anything new and modern for that price. You may find older refurbished laptops but these often seem overpriced to me. Put your budget up to £500 and you will have options (for instance Comet have 2 options at this price).
