sadly though your not allowed either...(unless as FYP said internet is for work/study?) you would have to pay for both otherwise out of any surplus you had....

the OR's class it as a "luxury" item...

  • Hi

Keep trying the numbers...sadly they are very busy & Monday is even busier.. try the CAB but remember you will have to ask for a debt advisor. Looking at the SOA I cannot say what is the recommended route...thats for the charities to advise on.

If your figures allow there may be potential for a debt management plan where all your creditors take a lower monthly payment that is pro-rated depending on any surplus that you have left. Obviously with less pension that will make it very tight but worth investigating I think.

Its tough & can be very frustrating but you have started to look at solutions & thats the first rung on the ladder of working out what your next step is.

    Good luck,

  • ty angie went to cccs site done online soa with them will try to contact someone online tom night ,thats whats putting me off doing anything about debt just now waiting to see what happens to pension .then things will be really tight
  • Remember BR is a big decision....not something to rush into. Get the advice first...do as much research as you can. Knowledge is power as we all know.

There is so much to learn on this board....I know you are Scotland & there are a few people who know their stuff on the subject too.

It is good to maybe add Scotland into any thread titles as that often helps with replies.
