i doubt anyone who does surveys pays tax on it, it's not like you get a payslip for it, it just goes straight in your bank account.
how would they catch you anyway? there's no tax people with binoculars in your garden watching people on the net and seeing if they are making money!

I agree with you that it is unlikely many people declare. As for 'how would they catch you anyway?'. These companies would declare (or should declare) what money (and to whom) they have given money to.

But how do they declare for example, a £5 amazon code sent to a person of a certain e-mail address ??

What about cashback? Is that taxable earnings or can you class it as a discount off the product your purchased?

I would agree that is highly difficult to do. I mean they could contact Amazon or the ISP? but highly highly unlikely. But most ask for your address too.

I would think it was the latter.

  • I do daily scratchies, occassional surveys and use cashback sites. I can't cope with daily clicks, I found navigating the sites time consuming and quite stressful to get the points.
I have signed up to a number of survey sights although the only one I do regularly is valued opinions and I've had a number of rewards and products trials from it.

If you can make 400 a month from them let me know lol. I have around 6 survey sites, review with dooyoo and save points with bingo port (i never play them back which means every 8 days a five pound amazon voucher = £15 a month) I probably make around £20 a month.

  • I have tried doing many different sites but gav up in the end the time involved and the amount you actually earn are just not worth it if you are trying to do it as an income. :(

I find the most important thing about surveys and scratchies, clicks etc is organisation. Keep a spreadsheet. There are hundreds of sites out there. Save passwords. It really isn't that dificult to make quite a few hundred a month (although I also do matched betting).
