Lidl tortilla and chicken breasts

Lidl have bargains on their flour tortillas plain or garlic and coriander down from 79p to 39p per pack.These are quite large and very tasty.

Also their frozen chicken fillet are down to £1.29 for a pack of 4. Which is excellent when you consider the price of chicken these days. I'd say the breasts are a little small, but the pack of 4 could easily feed 3 or 4 people.

My local Lidl are also selling Part Boned Chicken Breasts (600g) for £1.99 (usually £3.99), they contain 7-8 very decent sized pieces and they are blooming delicious. My kids prefer these to the Sunday whole chicken we usually have so we have these instead!

Thanks for the thread - just popped down to my local Lidls and stocked up on the frozen chicken breasts - we love them, they are lovely and juicy and although they are smaller than what you would get at Tescos, they are not pumped full of water so do not shrink when cooking (unlike the aforementioned tescos). Also picked up the Tortillas and have bunged them in the freezer - we prefer them to sandwiches and since next week is half term they will come in VERY handy.
