YBS Offset & ISA - support needed !

Options
I have a Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) Offset mortgage with which I am very happy. I have a moderate savings reserve to offset, mortgage wise this is the best way to go - but it means that it is not too tax effective in the long term as I forgoe my ISA allowance each year.

I have requested YBS (via Feedback page on website) to consider setting up a ISA facility to offset against the mortgage - at 0% of course. I have yet to have a reply - but I expect the first response will be something along the lines that they will only consider if they have more demand.

Please can any other YBS Offset people out there who think this would be a good idea too please help me and ask YBS for the same facility - perhaps then YBS, who have otherwise been brilliant, will consider it more !

Thanks.

(To clarify intent - offset savings will eventually be mine when the mortgage is paid off - however, will then need to use these savings tax-efficiently. If I have ability to use my isa wrapper year on year in a portable format- but still use savings to offset mortgage, then I am quids in when my mortgage finishes !! I think that this facility is available with IF and poss some others...)

what rates are you paying on the mortgage. ??? a totally separate ISA might be better ( then offsetting if allowance is used up)

OR if savings are not a great % of mtg ( and if not tied) , have you looked recently at other rates that might suit better than a offset
