Strange that it's now available online but cannot be reserved for store pick-up. Does anyone think that might indicate a reduction in price around about the 23rd?

Hmmm doubt it! They started doing it with the PSP when it first came out and the same with X-Box 360.
As there is only very limited stock they don't let people reserve them so that they sell through the business quicker and arnt wasting time sat in store stockrooms, when there are customers willing to buy. - Having 10 Consoles reserved and then only 3 people actually collect is not good business sence in their eyes. Argos these days is all about driving unit sales and making as much money as quickly as possible.... then screwing the staff over! (Sorry i'm on a bonus related rant
)
That and you can actually reserve items for upto 2 weeks!
Going slightly OT here but while sorting out the RO for this cat i noticed that the original x-box and most of the PSP's we do bar the entry level 150 quid pack are going. If they dont go back to the manufacturers there could be a bargain or two to be had. Like with the Gamecubes, doubt it tho
.
Expect RO stock to start appearing next month as the next promotion leading upto cat launch is just called "The Big Sale"0
