    I love that song Afriend.

It's one of the songs my father used to listen to. It reminds me of him.
    (i.e. ignoring the flashy imagery)

Hi treliac, I'm browsing youtube trying to work out what my favourite song is...
    I quite like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWTeS8m09C8.

Yes, good video too though I think the pictures might flash a little slower.

Loads have done Windmills of your mind. The definitive version for me is by Noel Harrison: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIk0bOlYYfM&feature=related

Even The Muppets did it but don't think I'll bother.... :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm always impressed when people can choose a favourite song. I have far, far, far too many for even a top ten. I like different songs best for different times.

We've got a tape deck not a ood radio/cd player in the new car and we're listening to tapes we find and often its really great. There is a tape I'm trying to find of my father singing nursery rhymes and reading bedtime stories: I realise what I didn't when younger, that its a treasure that I don't wnt to lose.

That's it for lots of the songs we love. They remind us of someone, an event or a time. They evoke our memories and the emotions that went with them.

I hope you can enjoy the beauty in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGDA0Hecw1k

I love it for the same reason that maybe you would. :)

Hear hear! Fine thanks. And yours? (I never seem to get as much done as I ought to though :o)

Hope I haven't gone too far with the last song's sentiments, but it is beautiful.
