Glad you are having a good day!

It's such a nice feeling when you can see the debt going down bit by bit.

Also sold some books this week and some other stuff that was in my garage, ended making about £60 which has gone off the cc.

Hoping to really tackle the overdraft in June.

Keep up the good work x x

    Natty,

    Thats great news.

So does that mean you re keeping the parrot then?
  • I am also going to give up smoking and that will save me an extra £100 plus a month. Bit scared to do that because last time I gave up I put on so much weight, can't afford to do that this year as my sister is getting in August and already have the bridesmaid dress which fits perfect at the moment. I can only but try

    WELL DONE

and good luck with the giving up smoking.... you'll have to keep loads of low caolrie snacks in the fridge so if you need a nibble theres only good stuff to nibble on. Also chewing gum helps for when you are out and about.

carrots are a great nibble for smoking cravings, especially carrot sticks (tricks the mind because of its shape - no medical proof, but it did for me!!)

    Well done natty!

Just think as well that you will have the money from the car loan to put towards your debts in Dec! Woo hoo! Nearly £300 - cor!

As for giving up smoking - have you been to your GP - you can get free/low cost help from them - so give it a go?!!

Also if you are worried about putting on weight - how about giving jogging a go? I know it is not for everyone but it's free - well apart from trainers, shorts and tee shirt but even a jog 'round your block will help!

Good luck you are doing so well - be positive!

And if you don't want to leave the house, use a step on your stairs and just do some step up's for 15 mins a day!

  • Thanks guys for all the encouragement.

As for the parrot, me and the other half are spending so much time at work at the moment and have been for ages that it seems unfair to keep him. But I am working on ways maybe to keep him will have to wait and see

Thanks again I think Monday is going to be my hardest day of not smoking I have given my smoking for 3 months last time. Here's for longer this time
